From the upper part of Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street, you can reach the Sopot hills of the Tricity Landscape Park within minutes.
Here you will find the Forest Opera, a covered amphitheater with over 5,000 seats, a legendary place for Polish pop music. Since the early 1960s, a song festival, once one of Europe’s most important, has been held here.
Performers on this stage have included Charles Aznavour, Johnny Cash, Gloria Gaynor, Boney M., Whitney Houston, and Elton John, leaving behind many anecdotes and legends.
