Kayah – singer, composer, lyricist, and producer, has shaped new trends in Polish music for decades. She has sold about 1.5 million records, received countless awards, and created timeless hits.
Who among us hasn't hummed songs like “Na językach,” “Supermenka,” “Prawy do lewego,” or “Testosteron”?
From her early years on stage, the artist boldly seeks new inspirations, exploring soul, folklore, and electronic music. She’s collaborated with world-renowned musicians like Cesaria Evora, Yasmin Levy, and Goran Bregović. She co-founded one of Poland’s largest independent labels – Kayax – which has helped many young artists enter the music elite.
“Jazzayah” is one of the most interesting stops in the singer’s artistic journey. Her best-known hits received fresh, surprising jazz arrangements. Concerts also include famous standards to which Kayah adds new energy and character with her voice. In Sopot, she’ll be accompanied by experienced, versatile musicians - Jan Smoczyński (piano), Michał Barański (double bass), and Michał Miśkiewicz (drums).
